Arthritis Foot & Ankle Care

Arthritis Foot & Ankle Care

Arthritis foot is a disorder that is usually caused by the inflammation of the foot joint due to tearing of the cartilage. Redness, swelling, warmth and pain are symptoms of this particular foot condition. Arthritis foot is common to people aging above 50. Any of 33-foot joints can be affected by it. Arthritis foot is of such different types as osteoarthritis, gout and rheumatoid arthritis.

Conservative treatment for arthritis foot includes wearing arthritic footwear that prevents tearing of the cartilage by reducing pressure on the foot joint. If it fails, you can go for a foot surgery. You should go for preventive ankle care as it has many benefits.
